Andy began his Financial Services career in 1987 with The Prudential, where he gained valuable experience before moving onto Lloyds TSB. Several years later an opportunity arose within a local IFA practise and being in the right place at the right time and recognising an opportunity for personal development, Andy said ‘YES’ and has never looked back.

With household names on his CV including the Pru and Lloyds TSB, Andy brings a wealth of expertise to True Bearing. Approachable and friendly, Andy brands himself as the ‘no-nonsense – down to earth’ individual, who is committed to delivering the very best solution to his clients.

Having advised across a broad spectrum of financial areas, Andy has robust relationships with several firms of solicitors and is able to provide a holistic approach to the needs of clients. Andy considers on-going advice to be an essential part of financial planning and is dedicated to providing a regular face-to-face review service for all his clients.

Married for nearly 25years, and the proud Dad of two daughters, one of which has been selected to train with the Junior North of England Lacrosse Squad, Andy is still an active playing member of a local football club. He also volunteers as a football coach at his daughters’ school. Andy enjoys walking and mountain climbing – particularly when there is a decent pub at the end of the climb!

True Bearing Chartered Financial Planners have been named Financial Business of the Year at the Lancashire “Red Rose” Business Awards 2012.  The ceremony was held in front of over 800 guests from the business community at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool.

The “Red Rose” Awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of real businesses throughout Lancashire.

True Bearing had been shortlisted alongside seven of the region’s superb financial firms.

The Judging Panel of the Red Rose Awards commented: “True Bearing are an excellent example of a Lancashire based business demonstrating excellent growth and expansion, and one that is not content with standing still. Judges felt their innovative approach to clients’ needs, their attitude to going above and beyond for clients, and the investment in their own people was certainly worthy of praise.“
