Paul Taylor is a Chartered Financial Planner and achieved his Chartered status in December 2007. He was amongst the first few hundred financial advisers in the UK to receive the qualification. The title Chartered Financial Planner is the most widely accepted "gold standard" qualification available for professional financial planners and advisers in the United Kingdom. Awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute, the qualification promotes the highest standards of integrity, technical competence and business capability.
Paul developed his financial knowledge with Axa Sunlife as a graduate recruit before joining True Bearing in 2004. In 2009 he became an Associate Director of the firm. Paul operates throughout the North of England. Paul is committed to delivering a bespoke service to a select group of business people. As a consequence his aim is to have a small client base that receives an exceptional level of service and cutting edge solutions.
Paul’s passion is in advising business owners and directors on how to protect what they create and to maximise wealth. He describes himself as a lifestyle financial planner and spends a lot of time with his clients ensuring they live the life they want without fear of running out of money. His professional and can-do attitude has helped build long-term relationships with many of his clients.
Paul is proud of his northern roots. He was Head Boy at Mount St Josephs (Bolton) before graduating from Manchester University with BA (Hons) in Modern Languages.
Paul is married to his American wife Jenny. He loves the outdoors especially off road running. He is a member of Chorley Golf club and is a category 1 golfer.

True Bearing Chartered Financial Planners have been named Financial Business of the Year at the Lancashire “Red Rose” Business Awards 2012. The ceremony was held in front of over 800 guests from the business community at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool.
The “Red Rose” Awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of real businesses throughout Lancashire.
True Bearing had been shortlisted alongside seven of the region’s superb financial firms.
The Judging Panel of the Red Rose Awards commented: “True Bearing are an excellent example of a Lancashire based business demonstrating excellent growth and expansion, and one that is not content with standing still. Judges felt their innovative approach to clients’ needs, their attitude to going above and beyond for clients, and the investment in their own people was certainly worthy of praise.“
