To kick-start their charitable support, the Euxton-based firm presented £329 to the Legacy Rainbow House resulting from a range of fund-raising activities at a recent employee family fun day held at Farrington Lodge.
The Legacy Rainbow House Trust is a national charity working with children with acquired brain injury, multiple disabilities and complex health needs. Whilst based at a 12 acre site in Mawdesley, Lancashire, the Rainbow House offers its services to children from across the UK.
Rainbow House was created in 2001 by Joanne Mawdesley who had two boys who were tragically struck with a rare genetic disorder, resulting in brain damage and disability. Joanne said: “I founded the Trust to help my boys, and to identify and develop an innovative service which provides therapy to help children to help themselves. We are truly grateful for the fundraising support of local firms, like True Bearing Chartered Financial Planners. Their generosity is very welcome and we can’t thank them enough.”
Chris Speak, Independent Financial Adviser at True Bearing Chartered said: “The services offered by The Legacy Rainbow House Trust are just unique and exceptional. Rainbow House is a lifeline to families locally and throughout the UK. We encourage all local firms to support this worthy cause. It helps young children achieve significant milestones in their development, and offers guidance and support to families.”
As a local firm committed to local causes, True Bearing Chartered have set up a Charity Committee, which will identify and recommend specific charities. Our target for the year is to raise £3000. This will be achieved in real cash raised or in time equivalent given by members of our team.
