Employee Financial Wellness

Financial Wellness has been defined by Ferdi Van Heerden, CEO Momentum Investment Management UK, as the “continuous process of planning and managing your money, so that you can meet your expenses and reach your goals over your lifetime.”

Ferdi’s firm, a leading worldwide investment firm has sponsored work at Bristol University’s Personal Financial Research Centre to create the 2017 Financial Wellness Index. Amazingly, despite Brexit and all the uncertainty in the world, the index has risen since the previous year! On average, we are financially more on the ball.

Financial Wellness Programmes in the Workplace

For True Bearing, ‘workplace financial education’ and ‘employee financial wellness’ go hand in hand. Our programme will educate your employees, based on the structure of the work at Bristol University. It will also take into account your firms employee benefits and the financial position of your typical employee.

Approximately 1/3 of employees have received some sort of financial education in the workplace.

Forward thinking employers are alive to the benefits employee financial education offers to both their firm and their employees.

Contact Maria Dabipi to arrange a workshop for your employees. Please leave your details and we will get in touch quickly.
