Employees at True Bearing based in Chorley are once again supporting the local charity ‘Chorley Help the Homeless’ after its successful donation drives in 2016.
The local Chartered Financial Planners are again calling on the local business community to join them in donating non-perishable foods and household goods and are hoping for donations to be greater than last year.
Sue Peary, Managing Director at True Bearing said: “After the outstanding support from our employees and local businesses in 2016 we have made this an annual event known as ‘Food for Thought, Thought for Food’ week. We try to support the local community and Chorley Help the Homeless supports those families in providing emergency food and household items to people experiencing crisis locally.”
“Our employees and the local business community were so supportive of the fund raising event in 2016 that they are only too happy to get involved again this year in a bid to collect as much food as we can to people who need it most.”
