True Bearing to sponsor Lancastrian of the Year award again at Sub36
True Bearing Chartered Financial Planners are proud to be sponsoring the Lancastrian of the Year award again at this year’s Sub 36 Awards. We take a look at these prestigious awards and answer and questions you might have!
What are the Sub36 Awards?
The Sub36 Awards are run by Lancashire Business View and aim to recognise young business and entrepreneurial talent in the Lancashire region. There are many different categories for the awards, ranging from Apprentice Award 2020, to the Go Green Award 2020 and of course, the True Bearing sponsored Lancastrian of the Year Award. All the finalists will attend an awards ceremony in Blackpool on the 22nd October.
What is the Lancastrian of the Year Award?
This award is for individuals who, through their contribution at work or in their leisure time, help to make Lancashire a better place for everyone. It could be by volunteering within the community, or by carrying out activities at work such as a CSR project. Previous winners have included David Walker of +24 Marketing.
What do I win?
Well, apart from a glitzy award for your mantelpiece or awards cabinet and the accolade of being a Sub36 Award winner, you will win a space on an amazing bespoke mentoring programme. You will be matched with a sponsor or judge from the event who will provide mentoring and support in order to help you rise even further to the top!
As well as the awards, throughout the year a series of Sub36 Socials are held, which allow talented young people within the Lancashire area to network with each other. It’s a good chance for you to make business contacts and even new friends. Due to the Coronavirus these are taking place online.
How do I enter?
Anyone under the age of 36 on the 22nd October 2020 is eligible to enter the awards. They can either enter themselves or you can nominate someone who you feel should be recognised for their achievements. You can enter online here.
