Member of the Legal Services Guild
Most clients have two main objectives; to make sure that once they have passed on, the ones they care for the most, receive maximum benefit from the assets they have worked so hard to acquire, and that the burden placed on loved ones at this time is minimised.
However, everyone’s circumstances are different and for that reason, Brian takes great pride in helping his clients consider all eventualities and explore all available options in order to create a plan ideally suited to them and their individual wishes.
Previously working in client services for a public sector body, Brian’s experience allows him to present estate planning to clients in an approachable and focussed manner. He is able to offer a trusted partnership to his clients and deliver this through a wealth of knowledge and support.
Brian is registered with the Legal Services Guild, an organisation which utilises the skills of the pre-eminent Barristers’ Chambers, with a national membership of solicitors, accountants and other professionals who are committed to the Guild’s Code of Conduct and exemplary levels of client care and protection.
He considers professional qualifications to be paramount in order to advise clients correctly. He has successfully completed the Legacy Planning examinations and is participating in a programme of accreditation and continual professional development registered with the Bar Standards Board of England & Wales.
Brian lives in Heywood with his wife, Gill and children Katy and Andrew. His passions are cycling and fundraising, which fits nicely with the True Bearing ethos, and he has recently raised over £900 for charity.

“Producing a Will is a serious and, somewhat, sombre experience in that it is a salient reminder that life is finite.
Brian Wallace guided my wife and I through the processes in a calm, patient and extremely informative manner. Time was not a constraint, each point was covered fully before moving on. Any question, however trivial, was dealt with fully and, on occasions, excellent visual aids were used to assist in understanding the point in question.
Brian, if asked, was happy to offer his advice; however, he was careful to cover all aspects of the issue raised, in an unbiased way. He was able to alay any fears and, indeed, highlight potential problems associated with any previously held preconceived idea. Notwithstanding, we never felt pressured and in the final analysis it was my wife and I who took any requisite decision.
The end product is a Will which we are both totally content with; it meets all of our requirements and we are confident that all of our needs have been fully covered and committed to print.
This very much reflects Brian”s professionalism and his attention to detail. We are most grateful for all of his efforts and commend him to you.”

“The clarity of information received from Brian was excellent. He gave us information about the options open to us when deciding what type of will would be best for our situation. He did not pressure us into purchasing any product he allowed us to make our own minds up and once this was done he was efficient making the necessary arrangements.
Brian has a very warm personable approach to people. He explained everything in detail and asked at each step of the way if we understood the information he was giving us. He was very knowledgeable of processes and made it very clear what and when was expected of us and our family.
Brian is also very patient as we found out when one of our witnesses messed up the paperwork on one of the wills.”
“Thank you very much Brian, for the very helpful information that you gave me to enable me to construct my Will covering all the different elements in the most suitable way. Thank you again.”
