Over the years Frank has worked with a number of the largest financial services companies in the UK specialising in the areas of investment, pensions and business protection. He continues to offer Independent advice representing his clients, typically individuals and their families, business owners and senior company directors. Frank’s continuing aim is to ensure he is up-to-date with changing legislation ensuring his clients are well informed. He continues to invest a great deal of personal time in studying which was recognised by the Chartered Insurance Institute in December 2013. The Personal Finance Society, a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, then invited Frank to be appointed a "Fellow", the highest financial services designation.
A Chartered Financial Planner, Frank enjoys interacting with clients and presenting at seminars using the knowledge he has gained to help clients understand their own personal situation. Frank has great respect for what people have worked hard to achieve. He ‘hates waste’ and sincerely believes that ‘every individual matters’. Frank liked the look of True Bearing the moment he was introduced. Attracted by the Chartered Status; highly qualified individuals; the dedicated support team and the fact that the firm was well established and local, Frank more than identified with True Bearing Chartered. “A simple Lancashire lad”, Frank recognised the similarities straightaway!

We had a couple of pensions and we wanted to ensure that they were invested correctly to suit our needs. Frank advised combining the pensions and transferring the funds to a different pension provider, thus reducing the financial risk. Frank explained everything clearly to us and he was very approachable and thorough.

I was made redundant after 38 years and didn't know what to do with my money. Frank helped me to put my money where it would work for me and my circumstances. I know exactly what I can spend on a monthly basis and what money to use and when until I need to take my pension. I now have a plan in place for the next 10 years until I reach 65 and do not have to worry.

I had no idea what to do with 2 pensions that I was holding and needed to understand the best way forward to maximise the amount of money/pension I can have in the future. Frank answered all my questions in a language I understood. Very little pension jargon, which I do not understand. If Frank could see I didn't understand he would explain again until I understood what I was looking at. Frank has been more than helpful and has saved me thousands. I was more than pleased with the help and advice Frank gave me.

We wanted a full review of our pension arrangements with a view to bringing our normal retirement dates forward. One of us had a number of smaller pensions that we required to be amalgamated. Frank guided us through our options in a logical and clear fashion that allowed us to fully understand the reasoning behind his suggestions. After detailed discussion we were able to confidently agree with the advice given. We were very impressed with the level of understanding and investigation that was carried out as part of the fact finding element. This gave us great confidence in the conclusions and suggestions that were given by Frank. The advice that was given and accepted was not what we would of thought about without expert guidance. Having just had our first six monthly review we are extremely pleased with the progress. Frank suggestions have also given us greater flexibility for the future and protected ourselves with the option of taking retirement earlier than we could have envisaged.

I needed to make the best informed decisions about by long term financial planning. I had already invested saving with another company but was not 100% happy with the service. Frank provided those answers and was able to release all my money and invest it for me. I now understand better where and how my money is invested. Frank helped me to decide on what level of risk I was comfortable with and then selected the best portfolio for that level of risk. The investments are, after an initial dip now providing a good level of return in the current markets.
