Neil has many years of experience in the financial services industry having spent over 25 years in high street banking in a variety of roles. He has spent over 15 years as a relationship manager for high net worth individuals; providing regulated financial advice for a number of years. He prides himself in the professional and friendly service which he provides to his clients, placing emphasis on the long term relationship that a trusted adviser can provide.
Neil joined True Bearing Chartered to concentrate on what he qualified for and enjoys most – providing financial advice to clients over a long term relationship, finding that the company held core values which reflect his own. He advises across a broad range of areas with a particular focus on working closely with clients to protect, grow and build their wealth to help achieve lifetime goals and ambitions. Areas to consider include protecting the client’s current position, discussing and agreeing tax efficient and achievable plans for their future working life; and ensuring that their retirement provides their preferred lifestyle.
Providing independent advice at True Bearing, Neil can consider the whole of the market when recommending the best financial solution to suit client needs which means they are bespoke and tailored just for your circumstances.
Neil truly believes that the very best advice and highest client satisfaction relies upon regular reviews with clients; which is a service he is delighted to offer.
Over time, client circumstances, legislation and regulation change. Regular face to face reviews help ensure that recommendations made are still appropriate and clients are kept informed of their financial position in terms of their aims and plans. Time is taken to understand what clients are trying to achieve in both the short and longer term, and Neil gains an immense amount of job satisfaction from creating a bespoke financial plan that both helps clients plan for the future, and be in a better financial position.
Living in East Lancashire, Neil is married with three children. Spare time centres around family life and hobbies include hill walking, cycling, running and family activities and holidays.
