The offices of True Bearing, in Euxton, will be a drop-off point for members of the public supporting Rock FM’s Mission Christmas campaign.
Rock FM’s Mission Christmas campaign asks people across Lancashire to buy and drop off unwrapped gifts to ensure children in poverty receive a little Christmas magic this winter.
Cash for Kids is the official charity of Rock FM and Mission Christmas is just one of the appeals they run throughout the year. Cash for Kids provides a helping hand to disabled and disadvantaged children across Lancashire.
Each year they hope to have thousands of pounds available for grants to children’s charities, individuals and many other causes throughout our transmission area.
All the money is raised locally and spent locally and goes to children and young people under 18 throughout the region, with mental, physical or sensory disabilities, with behavioural or psychological disorders, living in poverty or situations of deprivation, suffering through distress, abuse or neglect.
The general public can drop off unwrapped gifts at the True Bearing office, for any age group from 0-18, boys or girls.
George Critchley, Chairman at True Bearing said: “It is our first year of getting involved with Mission Christmas and we are delighted to be helping.
“There are too many children locally living in poverty and all the team at True Bearing would like to ensure that Santa has enough presents on Christmas Eve so that everyone wakes up to a surprise gift on Christmas morning.
“Please help us to make a child’s Christmas a better one by dropping gifts at our offices.”
